Breast Cancer /

Statistics say that 40,000 women will die from breast cancer in 2014. Now that breast cancer is part of my life I’ve been sharing my story to spread awareness and encourage women to be proactive and to keep on top of their self-exams, mammograms, ultrasounds, and overall health. This evening I will be Mistress of Ceremonies at the 5th Annual Susan G Komen Honoring the Promise Gala in Washington D.C. Susan G Komen has made it their mission to help in the fight against breast cancer and so far they have donated $23 million to breast cancer research. To read more about this event and all that Susan G Komen does, visit the Susan G Komen website.
