It's October 1st, which means today is the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

October is a very important month to me - an entire 4 weeks dedicated to helping spread awareness about breast cancer!

Throughout this month I will be returning to the Today Show as a special correspondent for their #PinkPowerToday series.

Today on the Today Show I kicked off the series with my fellow breast cancer survivor and good friend, Hoda Kotb.

Take a look:

Tomorrow, we are heading out to the plaza for a special segment….with some surprise giveaways! (I'm sworn to secrecy! So, that's all I'm saying…)

Tune-in to tomorrow morning, and this entire month, to help me and the Today Show celebrate breast cancer survivors, fighters and their families.

Breast cancer fighters, survivors! Join us Thursday, Friday for Ambush Makeover, surprises, more!

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we want you to help us celebrate breast cancer survivors and fighters.
