Today is National Nacho Day, and who doesn't love nachos as a snack, appetizer, or main course? There's nothing like turning on a Sunday football game with a plate of this popular and beloved dish.

The tortilla chip is a transportation device to get salsa, guacamole, and other nacho toppings to my mouth, so this year, here are some healthier tortilla chip alternatives to try to make this guilty pleasure a little less guilty: 

  1. Celery
  2. Kale Chips
  3. Sliced Yams 
  4. Apple Slices
  5. Flax Crackers
  6. Banana Chips
  7. Zucchini Chips
  8. Cucumber Slices 
  9. Sliced Bell Peppers
  10. Broccoli/Cauliflower Crowns
