I just love this article from Well and Good by Jamie McKillop! She shares Alexis Jones’ 8 Inspiring Tricks for Becoming a Confident Women.

Alexis Jones is the author of I Am That Girl. She has started a global campaign to empower women to fully express themselves. Her's what she suggests:

  1. Be a passionista: Ask yourself, What do I want and what makes me happy?
  2. Be First: You are the priority. Try to quit skipping something you love to accommodate someone else.
  3. Be Hard-Core: Idleness is restrictive! Stop making excuses!
  4. Be Unpopular: Stop worrying so much about what other people think of you. Instead, surround yourself with supporters!
  5. Be Bold: Dream big, and then do out and chase your dream! Don’t let fear hold you back.
  6. Be Resilient: Life is all about moving through life obstacles with grace.
  7. Be a Sponge: Find yourself a mentor, and never stop asking questions! Curiosity is the key to growth.
  8. Be of Service: We often find joy and wholeness in helping others, so don’t be afraid to volunteer or participate in that charity function.

After reading these 8 tips, I am so excited to check out Alexis' book!
