When we lose our hair from chemotherapy it can be traumatizing. For women, hair is sometimes seen as the pinnacle to our identity. But it's so important to remember that it really is just hair, it will grow back! In the meantime, there are those who perform selfless acts of kindness like donating their hair for wigs for people who need it the most. My daughter's best friend, Ashley, grew her hair long and made the brave decision to donate well over a foot to help cancer patients who have lost their hair to chemotherapy.
