Everything about life at Camp Takajo, founded in 1947, reinforces the values that make growing boys into good men. The fraternal feelings we promote, the breadth of experience we offer and the strong moral character we build are all part of our camp’s culture. Boys learn to navigate new situations and develop new relationships under the supervision of caring counselors who work hard to create a home away from home for each and every Camp Takajo camper. Through sports and games, special events, and a full array of activities that explore many hobbies and interests, our campers experience seven weeks of pure sleepaway camp joy.
