I speak to women all over the country about taking control of their health & wellness and about the importance of taking a little "me-time" now and then. But it was upon marrying my husband, Jeff Konigsberg, who owns and operates summer camps for children, that I discovered a lifestyle secret that trumped all others. For the past ten years I’ve been spending my summers in Maine at Camp Takajo where I swim, hike, hit the tennis courts, and scale the climbing wall. At the end of each summer I always find I’m in my best shape, my spirits are lifted, and I feel energized and inspired.

It has become my passion to share this exhilarating environment with other women, so I decided to share my little gem by creating a weekend getaway called Reveille. Reveille is designed for women to take time out from their hectic schedules to reconnect with their sense of play, recommit to their health, and renew their spirits. In its fourth year, Reveille offers women an environment filled with energy, camaraderie, and fun. Reveille is the perfect playground where any woman can unwind and play like a kid again, share laughter and inspiring stories with other women, and feel inspired to challenge their limits.



Camp Reveille is nestled among the majestic pines on the shores of Long Lake in Naples, Maine on the grounds of Camp Takajo. The idyllic location offers an active waterfront and beach, where you can swim, sail, canoe, water-ski, sunbath, and go for banana boat rides. Women can enjoy a myriad of fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Zumba, and strength training classes. In addition, mind and body classes such as meditation and breathing are offered. Seventeen tennis courts and a fully trained professional staff offer tennis instruction for every level. Traditional camp activities such as archery, arts and crafts, and a 50-foot climbing wall are some of the most popular activities there. Camp Reveille offers delicious meals as well as healthy snacks and refreshments offered all throughout the day. And there’s nothing like s’ mores and wine around a campfire at night!

After three successful summers of Camp Reveille in Maine, we are now taking Reveille on the road, exploring the country’s most interesting resorts and spas from coast to coast. Our on-the-road getaways offer alternate dates and locations throughout the year, making these unique weekends accessible to women everywhere. These Reveille on the Road girl getaways draw from the unique aspects of the resort and locale; whether it be adventure, mind & body, spa or fitness, each getaway offers an inspirational weekend.

This year, Reveille on the Road went to The Ritz-Carlton Resort and Spa at Dove Mountain in Marana, Arizona where we hiked, swam, star-gazed, tried golf and tennis, and took part in a gourmet healthy cooking class! Reveille is about offering women new opportunities—but there are no expectations or requirements.
